On April 13, 2026, NetSpace met with the Vietnam National Drama Theatre to discuss solutions for improving communication, operations, and audience outreach amid rapid digital transformation.
The meeting was attended by Meritorious Artist Kieu Minh Hieu – Director of the Vietnam National Drama Theatre, and Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan – General Director of NetSpace, along with representatives from the professional departments of both sides. In an open and frank exchange, the parties comprehensively assessed the current state of the theatre's operations in the digital age.
As one of the leading artistic institutions with a history spanning over 75 years, the Vietnam National Drama Theatre possesses a team of experienced artists and numerous high-quality dramatic works. However, in the face of rapidly changing audience behavior and the development of digital platforms, the theatre is facing numerous challenges: from digitizing its website system and optimizing its ticketing platform to building effective communication channels to reach the younger generation – a group increasingly playing a crucial role in maintaining the vitality of the theatre.
Based on that, both sides agreed on a cooperation direction centered around three key objectives: promoting comprehensive digital transformation, improving communication effectiveness, and increasing the level of connection between the theater and the public in the digital environment. NetSpace representatives proposed a comprehensive solution system that focuses not only on technology but also includes content strategy and brand development.

Specifically, the focus of the solution is building a Social MCN ecosystem, helping the theater gradually standardize and expand its communication channels on digital platforms. Simultaneously, establishing a systematic, long-term communication plan will help performances and artistic activities reach a wider audience, instead of relying on traditional channels. Another important highlight is the training and consulting program aimed at developing artists' images professionally, in line with the modern media environment.
In particular, the strategy of building personal brands for both veteran and younger artists is identified as a key priority in the coming period. Through developing their personal image on digital platforms, artists will not only increase their recognition but also become a "bridge" bringing serious, academic works closer to the general public, especially young people.
At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed on a long-term cooperation direction, with a commitment to implementing specific steps in the coming time. The collaboration between NetSpace and the Vietnam National Drama Theatre is expected to create positive changes in modernizing the operations of a traditional art institution, while also contributing to promoting digital transformation in the cultural sector in Vietnam.
Looking towards the 75th anniversary of its founding, this collaboration not only signifies innovation in operation and communication, but also opens opportunities for the Vietnam National Drama Theatre to further affirm its position and spread the value of theatrical art in a new, modern, accessible, and more suitable form for the digital age.
